How to wash tennis shoes?

I've got several older white tennis {althletic} shoes and they could all use a good washing but don't know the best to do it.

Thanks for your time and have a nice day.

How to wash tennis shoes?
well i wash all my shoes in the washing machine lol, umm i take out the shoe strings and trow them in the wash and then i put my shoes in the washer and put towels on top of them (to keep them from floating up so they get washed bettter) and if they are all white i put in my laundry detergent and wait til all the water fills up and then put a litttle bit of bleach in the was also, but if there not all white then dnt put any bleach in there =) and then you can either let them air dry or throw them in the dryer with the towels so its not soo loud =) good luck

and also on your shoes you know where the stiching is? well try using a bleach pin and go around the stitches bc then theyll get very clean =) and if your shoe has any of the cottton material like the tongue of your shoeyou can also use the bleach pin on that
Reply:wash them with some towels in the washing machine.use detergent and a little bleach. Dry them on low heat.
Reply:I use the magic erase pad things they work really good.
Reply:put them in the washing machine, and then let them air dry don't put them in dryer they Will lose it's shape and sometimes they shrink,
Reply:dont listen 2 dem other clowns. get an old toothbrush, toothpaste, a cup of water, and some paper towels
