How to clean white tennis shoes?

i have two pair of muddy tennis shoes. One pair is canvas the other is leather. Any advice on getting them white again?

How to clean white tennis shoes?
Rinse the canvas shoes off in cold water %26amp; wipe the mud off the leather shoes with a wet cloth. For the canvas shoes, you can wash them in the washer with cool/warm water %26amp; add a little bit of Clorox to the washer along with your detergent, if you don't have a bleach dispenser on your washer. Once they're clean, put them outdoors in the sun to dry if that's possible, depending on what your living arrangements are.

As for your leather shoes, once you have removed the mud off the shoes with a damp cloth, add Dawn dish soap to a small bucket or in your sink, then dip a cloth into the Dawn/water %26amp; wipe in circular motions until the shoes are clean. I have cleaned my leather tennis shoes this way for years. You can even pour straight Dawn on a clean rag %26amp; wash the shoes this way. Once the dirt is gone, rinse the shoes with a damp cloth. To get the laces clean on both canvas %26amp; leather shoes, wet the laces fold them up in your hands %26amp; add some Dawn dish soap to them. Lather them up well %26amp; then let them soak in a little bit of hot water. When clean, rinse thoroughly %26amp; hang them up to dry.
