Best tennis shoes?

me and my friend are planning to play tennis this summer. but the problem is, we don't have any idea what shoe to buy.

Best tennis shoes?
I like how you plan ahead of time, very good skill. As for the shoes,I prsonally preffer adidas baricade II or IV or you can also try K-Swiss.
Reply:from my experience , its ASICS. A member in our club had a tennis shoe ASICS for 7 years and even up to now it's still well.

ASICS is a japanese company

TOYOTA is a japanese company

TOYOTA is #1

i think u get the drift :))
Reply:barricade series from adidas are the best...only downside is that its is heavier and has no ventilation but seems to never break. also any of the breathe free line from nike is also great. they are light and have great ventilation but the durability is not as good. plus both shoes has a 6 month outsole warranty that guarantees that if you break the soles of the shoes before 6 months they will replace one pair of the same shoe. its worth it because u spent a little bit more and get a great shoe.
Reply:In my opinion Nike has the best tennis shoes, i would suggest the Nike revive i think it's called, it has two soles that pull off and on so they last twice as long and they are comfortable
Reply:Babolat Propulse. I and Roddick have them. They're amazing. Pretty expensive, but give you the ride of your life for you feet. Last about a year and half or so.
Reply:i think the best shoes for tennis is nike

Reply:Almost all major athletic shoe companies make at least several excellent tennis shoes and all of them also make a shoe or two that would be bad choices for you. Prince, K-Swiss, Wilson, and New Balance make some great shoes in addition to the giant companies like Nike. Here's my general advice: Stay away from cross-trainers. Go with the lightest most cushioned shoe that fits well. The outsole should be for hardcourts(I'm assuming your not on clay), but don't pay attention to claims of a year or or more wear. If you play regularly, the sole wears and the upper breaks down.

Try to go to a sports and tennis store or proshop. They carry the best of the shoe companies extensive line. Chain stores like FootLocker have some great shoes, but some are junk and sell these just because of the cosmetic looks. Tennis mags like Tennis carry reviews of shoes and tell you what kind of player they are appropriate for. Once you get knowledgeble about the type of shoe that's best for you, you can shop around for the best deals if you stick with playing regularly and need several pairs. The most expensive model is rarely a good choice for the recreational player and it's more about hype.
Reply:the nike tennis shoe (2 soles) is stupid. if they were that good, why would u need 2 soles to make it last longer? the best shoes are adidas barricade IV's. thats the only way to go. I, djokovic, ivanovic, and many others own a pair (or more!). they look nice during and after play.
